| Me and the hockey girls in the Mission playing some random piano keys outside...only in the Mission. I love this photo, especially cause it looks like the Luna Park sign is a bubble coming from Jo's head!
This is the beginning of fairwell to California.

| Rain, Rain, GO AWAY!!!!
25 out of 31 days of rain in SF, 22 days for Oakland...record breaking.
This is bool-sheet! Meanwhile, it is sunny and warm in Boston. Since moving to the bay area, the Pats won 2 superbowls, Sox won World Series, it snowed in the bay and now record breaking rain which is not good for my back.

| After possibly the most fun carb-filled weekend (my high school friend was visiting), followed by what seemed the longest post detox work day known to woman, I gathered the energy to go to the gym. I finished an already half eaten chocolate Powerbar (I seriously like these) chugged some gatorade and scoped out the treadmill selections. Suprisingly for a Monday the gym was pretty empty and I had my choice of treadmills. There was only one 40 year old man on one out of 12 treadmills...and the treadmill next to his was the one I chose. hahaha Why? Because it was the ideal distance from the hanging tv and the big screen tv, and right next to the squash courts where I like to watch the people sprint and fall while chasing the balls...that and...I like a little healthy competition to keep me running...not like openly competitive, just mental...treadmills just get so boring i need something to keep me going... you know what I'm talking about. Anyways, I digress.
After one mile down, I was cruising...music was good, there was a squash round robin going on, plenty of distractions etc. Meanwhile, my running buddy was struggling...and then struggling turned into stopping. I looked over...his timer said 10 minutes. Now, I don't know what came over me...maybe it was the Bon Jovi blaring in my headphones, maybe it was the goggle-eyed squash players falling on their faces that were cracking me up, or maybe it was the missing persons report on the Nancy Grace show, but when I saw the dude stop running, I said to myself "Come on, you can't be stopping already"...but the thing is...I actually said it outloud!!!!!!! I totally didn't mean to, it was the headphones! And I wasn't being mean, just cheerful and I didn't want to be the only one running cause I get bored.
Anyways, the guy looked at me a little embarassed, smiled and then started on the treadmill again! Yay for dude! Except he only lasted another 2 minutes! eek. I may have made an embarassing face...Not only did he stop once and I heckled him...he stopped again and I was still there running and looking at the 2 minutes on his timer. Seriously, what is wrong with me. I live in a friends episode. I embarass myself just on my own. hahahaha. | | |
| REUNION!!!!!! We met, we saw, we survived. hahaha survived MIT that is. I met Cat and Annie my first day during orientation at MIT. Who knew that three girls, with such different interests, personalities, backgrounds and friends would remain friends!
Me, Annie, Kristin (Annie's friend) and Cat inside Oola in San Francisco. Try the ribs, they're finger lickin good. But you might need to wash it down with some wine cause they're dang saucy. I would like to note this is the first time I am seeing Annie since graduating June 2002. We could have gone through college again during that time!

Us again outside the restaurant.

Me, Annie and Cat outside the restaurant. I know, its repetitive, bear with me.

The three of us again during dinner. such a cool photo..yay the powers of photo shop...thanks cat! everything you touch turns to glow.

| After a two month hiatus, i went to pilates class last night. It kicked my butt. I always forget how hard it is! It starts off nice and easy and then all of a sudden it hits you: you're clenching your butt for dear life as your abs feel like they're burnt to a crisp. | | |
